Terms of Use

Welcome to Finisher Wall. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Finisher Wall mobile application (the “App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

Finisher Wall is a personal vault for your race history and medal photos. It is a tool for recording, organizing, and sharing your own athletic achievements. Finisher Wall is not a timing system, an official race result service, or a medical or coaching service.

2. Your account

• You can create an account using Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or email and password.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the photos, race details, and other content you add to the App (“Your Content”). You grant Finisher Wall a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and sync Your Content for the sole purpose of providing the App to you and your devices.

You are responsible for Your Content. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, content that infringes someone else’s rights, or content that is unlawful, harmful, or abusive.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts.
• Use the App to violate any law or the rights of others.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its design, brand, name, logos, and underlying technology are owned by Finisher Wall and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to the Finisher Wall brand or software beyond personal use of the App.

6. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services, including Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), Sign in with Apple, and Sign in with Google. Their terms and policies apply when you use those features. We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Termination and account deletion

You may stop using the App at any time and you may delete your account from inside the App at any time (Settings → Delete Account), or by following the steps on our Delete Account page. Deleting your account permanently removes the synced data associated with that account.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if your activity puts the service or other users at risk.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be retained indefinitely. Keep your own backups of important content.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finisher Wall and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

10. Changes to the service or these Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. When we update these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
